The Associate Professional Risk Manager (Associate PRM) is a new PRMIA
certificate program intended for staff entering the risk management profession, or those who interface with risk management disciplines on a regular basis, such as auditing, accounting, legal, and systems development personnel who want to understand fundamental risk management methods and practices. Designed to be mathematically and theoretically less detailed than the Professional Risk Manager (PRM™) certification, the new program will cover the core concepts allowing non-specialists to interpret risk management information and reports, make critical assessments and evaluate the implications and the limitations of such results.

Listed companies are required to disclose financial details in annual accounts of the compnay to comply with International Financial Reporting Frameworks and Local corporate laws. ICAP has made a checklist of all those relevant disclosures those are required to be published in financial statements of listed companies.

KIBOR means Karachi Interbank Offer Rate.
The KIBOR was launched in 2001 and in 2004 its scope and operation was expanded. Since its start, almost every bank of the country preferred to devise its own mechanism for determination of KIBOR and it evoked serious reaction from private sector.
The Habib Bank Ltd (HBL) has become the first commercial bank which has linked its Karachi Inter-Bank Offered Rate (KIBOR) related financing with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) displayed rate of KIBOR.

Exchange rates of all currencies in the world market are staggering, in a see-saw fashion during last couple of months. At what directions these are moving, we have to have a close eye over it. The London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR) is a daily reference rate based on the interest rate at which banks borrow unsecured funds from banks in the London wholesale money market or interbank market. It is roughly comparable to the U.S. federal funds rate.
These rates are used for basis of payment of mark up rates againt short or long term borrowings in foreign currency by the companies to the banks.
